We use industry-standard encryption to protect your personal information when it is sent to and from our website and app, and when it is stored. Sensitive data is encrypted at rest, and your password is hashed rather than stored in plain text.
Protecting your data

Your Beso account
We proactively protect your account with automatic sign-out, identity verification, and detection of suspicious account access. We use automated and manual systems to identify and notify you of unusual activity.

Connected social accounts
When you connect a social account, Beso requests only the permissions needed to provide the features you use, and access tokens are stored securely. Revoking access from a connected platform will require you to reauthenticate with that platform if you return to Beso. If we ever need additional permissions, we will always prompt you to grant them first.
Reporting a concern
We take security seriously and welcome reports of potential vulnerabilities or suspicious activity.
