Privacy Policy

What Beso collects, why we collect it, how we keep it, and the choices you have. Plain language, real specifics.

Effective January 1, 2026

Overview

Beso Media LLC ("Beso," "we," "us," or "our") collects and processes information to operate our websites and applications, provide our social media management tools, protect our business, and comply with applicable law. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Beso Platform and is subject to our Terms of Use. If you do not agree with this policy, do not access or use the Platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will post an updated version on the Platform. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Information you provide

We collect information you provide directly. For example, this happens when you create an account, subscribe to a paid plan, contact support, submit feedback, or otherwise interact with us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business information, billing details, social media identifiers, and any content you create, upload, or schedule through the Platform.

If you reach us through social media, we may also receive any information you share with us there, subject to that platform's own privacy policies.

Connected social accounts

When you connect a third-party social media account (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, or Bluesky), you authorize Beso to access that account on your behalf. Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, we may receive and store profile and page information, account identifiers, audience and engagement metrics, and access tokens that let us publish and retrieve content for you.

We use this information only to provide the Platform's features, such as scheduling, publishing, and reporting, and in accordance with each connected platform's terms and policies. You can disconnect a connected account at any time, which revokes our ongoing access to it.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Platform, we automatically collect technical and usage data, including device and browser type, operating system, IP address, the pages and features you use, click behavior, session length, referral source, and general geographic region. If we combine any of this information with data that identifies you, we treat the combined data as personal information.

Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, analyze how the Platform is used, monitor security, and improve our services. We use analytics providers, such as Google Analytics, for these purposes.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, but some features of the Platform may not function properly without them. The Platform does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Platform; create and manage your account; process transactions and subscriptions; publish and schedule your content to connected platforms; provide analytics and reporting; communicate with you about your account, security, and updates; provide customer support; and personalize your experience.

We also use information to protect the security and integrity of the Platform and our users, detect and prevent fraud, enforce our policies, defend our legal rights, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or governmental requirements.

AI processing

If you use AI-assisted features, the content and prompts you provide may be processed by us and by third-party AI providers acting on our behalf to generate or suggest content. We do not sell this information, and we require our providers to handle it under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers; that information is handled directly by the processor under its own privacy and security practices. We may receive limited billing details, such as the last four digits of your card, card type, and billing contact information.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below, with your consent, or as permitted or required by law:

  • Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, AI processing, and customer support. These vendors may use it only to provide those services and are contractually required to protect it.
  • Connected platforms. With the third-party platforms you direct us to publish to, as needed to carry out your instructions.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Beso, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties and encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, complete transactions, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or render it anonymous, unless we are otherwise required to retain it by law or to protect our legitimate business interests.

Security

Beso uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Sensitive data is encrypted in transit and at rest, passwords are hashed, and access is limited to authorized personnel who need it to perform their duties.

While we use commercially reasonable measures, no security system is infallible, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or other security incidents will never occur. If you become aware of suspicious or unauthorized activity related to your account, contact us immediately at support@beso.app.

For more detail on how we protect your information, see our Security overview.

Your choices & rights

You can update your account information, disconnect connected accounts, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us. Disconnecting a social account revokes our ongoing access to it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. We will honor these rights as required by applicable law. We may request verification of your identity before responding, and we reserve the right to refuse requests that are excessive, repetitive, or abusive.

Children

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@beso.app and we will delete it as soon as possible.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date, and we may notify you by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
